My first portrait

The first portrait that I painted was of my daughter, Ella. I remember being very doubtful it would turn out at all or have her likeness. But with much diligence and some encouragement from Mark it really does look like her. I am just beginning another portrait of Ella. I took the photo, which I will paint from, in our yard here in Hawaii. I'm excited to get started!
